School Program
I begin this journey of gaining a better understanding of the wolf with schools and community groups.
Tundra accompanies me to these presentations. So while I provide basic information on wolves, Tundra interacts with the audience, gaining their trust and confidence. This interaction assists tremendously in changing their attitudes.
The topics I cover in my wolf presentation are:
- · Pup development
-
· Pack dynamics
-
· Mating and reproduction
-
· Wolf predation
-
· Wolf conservation issues in BC
I display pictures of Tundra from a 10 day old pup to her full grown stature, to augment my presentation.
These presentations are available to schools and community groups for Vancouver Island and Lower Mainland at no charge. If groups outside the designated area are interested in having Tundra and I attend, please contact me to see if arrangements can be made. To arrange a visit, please email me wolfman@recn.ca or call (250)973-6861.

Testimonials
“What an incredible treat it was for the kids to be introduced to Gary Allan’s thirteen month old wolf, Tundra! Students were mesmerized as they were graced with Tundra’s presence.”
Wayne Peterson, Principal
Gwa’sala-‘Nakwaxda’xw School
“The morning with Tundra was very educational and inspiring. Everyone in my class wants a wolf. I realize this is impossible but at least we learned a little more about the wolf and how the wolf is really misunderstood.”
Irene Oickle, Teacher
Avalon Adventist Junior Academy
